How it works
Getting an interpreter is simple
Your provider requests an interpreter
Your early intervention therapist or service coordinator contacts Early Voices to arrange language support for your sessions.
We match you with a certified interpreter
We assign a certified interpreter who speaks your language and is trained in early intervention terminology and family-centered practices.
Your interpreter joins your session
Whether in person at your home or via video, your interpreter is there to bridge every conversation — evaluations, IFSP meetings, therapy sessions, and more.
You stay fully informed
We also translate written documents — IFSPs, evaluation reports, consent forms — so you can review, understand, and sign with full confidence.

In-Person Interpretation
A certified interpreter attends your home therapy sessions, evaluations, and IFSP meetings in person — so nothing gets lost between you and your child's care team.
Video & Phone Interpretation
Remote interpretation for telehealth sessions, phone consultations, and virtual IFSP meetings — available on short notice.
Document Translation
Your IFSP, evaluation reports, consent forms, and progress notes translated accurately into your language — so you can read, understand, and participate fully.

Language access in early intervention is your right
Under federal law, families participating in early intervention programs are entitled to receive services in their primary language at no cost to them. Early Voices works with early intervention programs and providers to ensure every family can fully participate — regardless of the language they speak at home.
In most cases, interpretation services are provided at no cost to your family.
